Rene Barrera, co-founder and CEO
Rene is responsible for the daily running, growth and direction of the company.
Rene has over 12 years experience in the Networking industry. Prior to founding Global-cse,
Rene was the Data Engineering Director of UNEFON, where he was a key member of the
engineering team and corresponsible for enabling UNEFON to launch first-in-the-market
PTT VoIP solution as well as for building Mexico's more advanced 3G wireless network.
Rene's qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering (Electronic Engineering) with First
Class Honours from Tec de Monterrey, a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA)
from ITAM, and an MSc in Financial Management from the University of London.
Rene is also a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and a Certified Information
Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
